From Sidmouth, walk the South West Coast Path to Budleigh Salterton (6 miles) and Exmouth (12.5 miles) to the west, or Seaton (10 miles) to the east.

It’s just half an hour on the 9A bus to visit nearby
Seaton, home of the heritage Seaton Tramway and Jurassic Discovery. Or in the other direction head to Budleigh Salterton on the 157 bus. Look up bus times.
