Cotehele Blossom Festival

This article is more than 7 months old.

Cotehele National Trust’s Festival of Blossom is back!

Visit between Friday 26th and Monday 29th April for celebrations including lawn games, music, dance, an art exhibition and even ‘blossom yoga’! See the full programme of events for details.

Getting to Cotehele

Enjoy the scenic 30-minute journey from Plymouth to Calstock on the Tamar Valley Line (train times). From Calstock station, take a 1.2-mile walk alongside the river and up through the woods to Cotehele (please note – the woods section is steep & uneven).

There is also music and local ciders at Calstock’s Tamar Inn.

Other events along the line

There are also blossom-related walks from three other stations along the Tamar Valley Line – Devonport (Wed 24th April), St Budeaux (Thurs 2nd May) and Bere Alston (Sat 27th – Sun 28th April). See the full programme of events for details.

Plus a history walk from Bere Alston happening on Fri 26th April alongside the festival (booking essential at the link).

Fares & ways to save

The adult Off-Peak Day Return fare from Plymouth to Calstock is £7.90.

5-15 year olds travel half-price. Under 5s are free.

Top tip – get a Devon & Cornwall Railcard (just £12 a year and now available online) to save a third on the above fare for you and a friend. You can also bring up to four children for just £1 each.
