Hop on the scenic Looe Valley Line for the return of The Looe Weekender Festival! From Friday 18 to Sunday 20 September, this jam-packed music event is FREE to attend, with no need to book any gigs in advance – just turn up and enjoy the music!

Now in its fifth year, the Looe Weekender is a three-day music event organised by the pubs, clubs, cafés, restaurants, hotels and bars of Looe.
Across multiple venues and pop-up stages throughout the town, you can expect an eclectic line-up of bands, choirs, duos and soloists, with most venues hosting at least three performances each day. In total, more than 90 sets will take place across the weekend, with some venues also hosting bonus gigs on Thursday 17 September.
Start times vary from venue to venue, so it’s worth checking the Looe Weekender website for the full venue-by-venue line-up and latest updates.
Beat the traffic and arrive by train on the Looe Valley Line – with the last train leaving at 21.55 on weekdays, 21.42 on Saturdays and 20.49 on Sundays.
An Adult Anytime Day Return between Liskeard and Looe costs £6.20 for an adult, £3.10 for a child (5–15) and under-5s go free.
Save a third on the adult fare for you and a friend (with kids travelling for just £2) with a Devon & Cornwall Railcard – just £13 a year for local residents.
Look up train times and buy rail tickets on the GWR website or app.
