North Devon Foodfest by train

Hop on the train this Sunday (20th October) to the North Devon Foodfest in Barnstaple.

Free to enter, the festival is open from 10am to 3.30pm and showcases local food businesses from across North Devon. Browse more than 80 stalls and sample everything from cheese and ales to local meat and fresh produce. The event is held at Barnstaple’s Pannier Market, less than 15 minutes’ walk from Barnstaple station (map).

Taking the train
Take the train to Barnstaple from either Exeter St Davids or Exeter Central. The adult Off-Peak Day Return fare is £11. 5-15 year-olds are half price, and under 5s go free. Groups of three to nine people get a third off. The journey takes approximately 1 hour 15 minutes.
