Experience Poldark – new app launched

Inspired by the scenery in BBC’s Poldark? Plan a trip to see it in person thanks to a brand new app developed by Visit Cornwall.

The Experience Poldark app, free from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, features filming locations, walks inspired by the show, travel tips and even a Poldark lingo decoder.

The app incorporates our Great Scenic Railways guide to exploring Poldark country by train. With a combination of scenic train journeys, short hops on the bus and some glorious coastal walks you can visit destinations including Charlestown (which stands in for Truro in the programme), the Smuggling Museum at Polperro and the spectacular St Ives Bay Line.
