Truro’s BIG Christmas Sing

Fancy carol-singing alongside a thousand people? Hop on the train to Truro and be part of it.

Truro Cathedral is welcoming the public to join its ‘BIG Sing’ at 7.30pm on Friday 9th December. As well as the congregational carol singing, also performing will be Four Lanes Male Choir, Fore Street Methodist Church Gospel Choir (St Ives) and Bodriggy Academy Choir. It is a free event with a collection for the work of Christian Aid and Truro Cathedral. Find out more.

Taking the train
The Cathedral is less than 15 minutes’ walk from Truro station (see map).

  • Trains depart half-hourly from Falmouth Town (including at 18 02 and 18 34).
  • The journey takes 25 minutes.
  • The adult Off-Peak Day Return is just £4.30 from Falmouth (£3.70 from Penryn).
  • 5-15 year olds are half price and under 5s free.
  • Trains back from Truro later in the evening depart hourly (including at 21 05 and 22 12).
