Christmas Fair – St Ives

Hop on the train to St Ives this weekend for a not-be-missed Christmas Fair.

Starting on Friday 2nd December, more than 30 local makers and designers from Etsy Makers Cornwall will be selling their wares at the Guildhall in the heart of the town – just a 6-minute walk from St Ives station (see map).

It’s your chance to buy handmade, unique presents for Christmas including:

  • modern ceramics
  • stylish home-ware
  • hand-printed textiles
  • unusual jewellery
  • hand-blown glass
  • sculptures
  • abstract paintings
  • contemporary knitting
  • prints
  • illustrations
  • papercraft (such as that pictured above – designed by Paper Gardens)

Take the train
As well as the amazing views as the train hugs the coast and the convenience of arriving right on the doorstep of the town, you’ll also benefit from great value fares. Adult Off-Peak Day Returns include:

  • Penzance to St Ives: £4.30
  • Redruth to St Ives: £5.60
  • Truro to St Ives: £6.70

Groups of 3 to 9 people get a third off with the GroupSave discount. 5-15 year olds are half price and under 5s free.
