This initiative is part of the promotional campaign being run for the line by the Devon & Cornwall Rail Partnership working closely with the Avocet Line Rail Users’ Group. To get the 10% discount, passengers need to show the rail ticket they used to get to the dining pub. The discount applies to food only and doesn’t apply to drinks. Many of the participating pubs are running separate drinks promotions.
Celia Minoughan, the Partnership’s Avocet Line Project Officer said “Passengers on the Avocet Line have a treat in store at these highly rated dining pubs. The discounts offer an excellent opportunity to try somewhere new or go back to an old favourite.”
