How to visit by train

A classic and traditional Devon seaside resort, with a long promenade and Victorian pier, Teignmouth is a great place to explore.

Arrive on one of the most scenic stretches of railway in the country, and then relax with a paddle in the shallow sea, or enjoy some wonderful food – with fresh, locally-caught fish available on many award winning menus in the town.

You can also take the historic ferry over to the pretty fishing village of  Shaldon.
