Complete your trail booklet to win some tasty treasure and a 'Pirate Crew Member' sticker.
Plus: share photos of your adventure for the chance to win a free bundle of pirate goodies.
Get your FREE booklet
Before you travel to Looe, pick up your free trail booklet at one of these locations:
- Plymouth station booking hall
- Liskeard station ticket office
- Liskeard station heritage centre (Platform 3)
They’re in dispensers like this:
Your journey
Take the train to Looe (runs seven days a week, including Bank Holidays), with great views along the estuary.
Look up train times and buy tickets on the GWR website or app. You can also buy tickets at station ticket offices and ticket machines.
If you live locally, a great way to save is a Devon & Cornwall Railcard, available to buy online.
In Looe
Follow the clues in your booklet to find the nine pirates on window stickers like this one. They're hidden in and around the town’s shops, pubs and restaurants.
How long is the trail?
It’s 1.5 miles, including the walk to/from the train station. One section includes hopping on the little ferry across to West Looe (£1 per person).
The ferry only runs when the tide is high enough (see tide times). At low tide you can either skip this part (you can still complete the trail without it) or you can walk via the bridge, but this adds a further mile.
Your reward
Complete the trail to win some tasty treasure and an official 'Pirate Crew Member' sticker (available at the end of the route until 4pm each day).
