Silhouettes & Shadows
Saturday 25 October – Sunday 2 November / Shows at 11:00, 13:00 and 15:00
Starbox Theatre and Wilderness Music return this October half term with their brand-new shadow puppet show, White Horses and Whale Tales. Inspired by the major exhibition SURF!, this magical show brings to life the tales of Mermaids, Buccas, Selkies, and other mysterious sea creatures that stir the waves at Cornwall’s famous surf breaks.
Meet Duggie the puppet and hear stories from the sea, discover the mythical lost land of Lyonesse, marvel at deep-sea monsters, and join the Ocean Jamboree for a finale of fun!
Make & Take
Every day, 12:30 – 15:30 (last entry 15:15)
Get crafty and create your very own monster puppet! With wild hair, googly eyes and endless colours to choose from, let your imagination run free. Once your spooky creation is ready, put on your own show in the puppet theatre.
Morgawr Sensory Trail
Every day, 10:00 – 17:00
The waves go whoosh and the sea winds howl, but something deeper starts to growl… Explore the Museum on a sensory adventure to discover Morgawr, the legendary Cornish sea monster. Collect all the stamps, listen for clues, and feel the scaly textures – if you dare!
Saturday 25 October – Sunday 2 November / 10:00 – 15:00
