Drawn to the Valley Open Studios – get there by train

From Sat 23rd – Sun 31st August, hop on the train from Plymouth into the Tamar Valley for the much-anticipated return of Open Studios by Drawn to the Valley.

As part of the programme, this year the Tamar Valley Centre in Gunnislake and Cotehele National Trust in Calstock will be showcasing paintings, jewellery and ceramics from a range of talented local artists. Both venues can be reached by train along the scenic Tamar Valley Line.


Tamar Valley Centre, Gunnislake

Open 10:30 – 4:30 daily

Get there by train:

From Plymouth, hop on the scenic Tamar Valley Line to Gunnislake station. From the station, its just a 5 min walk to the Tamar Valley Centre.

Get there by train:

From Plymouth, hop on the Tamar Valley Line and get off at Calstock station. From the station, it’s a scenic 1.2 mile riverside and woodland walk to Cotehele. Please note, entry is free to National Trust members or standard fees apply to non-members.
