Looe Festival of Words – get there by train

Looe Festival of Words is back for its second year! This FREE celebration of reading, writing, and the love of words runs from Wednesday 1st to Sunday 5th October.

Events include writing workshops, crafts, literary walks, author talks, poetry nights, storytelling, quizzes and more.

All events are free, though some may require booking.

Get there by train

Beat the traffic and arrive by train on the scenic Looe Valley Line. If coming from Plymouth, hop off the train at Liskeard and head over the footbridge to Platform 3 to catch the branch line train down to Looe.
