Salcombe is a real Devon gem with its golden beaches, boat trips, top food & drink, art galleries, boutique shops and coastal walks.
It’s easy to visit by train and bus. Take the train to Totnes then hop on the 164 bus to Salcombe, right outside the station.
In our video, we visited just some of Salcombe’s highlights, including treating ourselves at Salcombe Dairy‘s ice cream shop and Chocolate Factory, doing some stylish shopping at Will Bees Bespoke, trying the famous Salcombe Gin, and taking in the local art scene at Gallery 5.
For lunch we enjoyed some amazing seafood at the Winking Prawn at nearby North Sands, and then back in town we took the short hop on the ferry across to East Portlemouth beach.
From Bed & Breakfasts to hotels and holiday cottages, find accommodation to suit you on the official Salcombe tourist information website.
