This busy line is great for going shopping in Truro, exploring Falmouth and its maritime history or for exploring the area on foot with the many footpaths and trails.

Penryn is one of Cornwall’s oldest market towns and is steeped in history. There are lots of interesting independent shops and cafes to explore and plenty of fine Tudor, Jacobean and Georgian buildings to spot.
Truro is Cornwall’s capital and a vibrant centre for shopping, art and culture. This compact little city has a warren of streets in and around its impressive Gothic Cathedral which are home to a variety of independent retailers from bookshops to boutiques.
Falmouth has four world class beaches which are great for families.

This mighty fortress, built by King Herny VIII was built between 1540 and 1545.
The castle is run by English Heritage and has regular events throughout the year, wonderful coastal views, tours and exhibitions. Pendennis Castle is a 1/2 mile walk from Falmouth Docks station.
When visiting Truro, discover Cornwall’s history from prehistoric times up to the industrial revolution. Exhibits include an Egyptian mummy!
The museum has loads of interactive and family friendly events so there is something for everyone.
