Half price journeys to Barnstaple

Take a great value trip to Barnstaple on the scenic Tarka Line thanks to a great offer.

Day return tickets from Exeter to Barnstaple are currently better than half-price at just £5 (usual price £10.30). There’s no need to book in advance – buy your ticket on the day. The offer runs until 17 April 2017.

Things to do in Barnstaple
Enjoy the scenic train journey through the Devon countryside on the Tarka Line. Upon arrival in Barnstaple, you can hire a bike and explore the Tarka Trail, take a walk from the station on the South West Coast Path, or head into town and visit the historic Pannier Market (pictured above). Taking the train
Trains to Barnstaple run hourly through most of the day in both directions (Monday to Saturday, with a reduced service on Sundays). You can go direct from stations including Exeter Central and Exeter St Davids, with the journey taking approximately 1 hour 15 minutes.
