UPDATE: Now fully booked
On Tuesday 19th November, join professional Blue Badge tour guide Mark Camp for his last walk of 2024 as he explores the rich industrial history of the Moorswater area below Liskeard. Discover its transport links with Looe, the role of granite and limestone in the valley and why a vicar from down west had no faith in IK Brunel!
Mark will be waiting to greet you outside Liskeard station for 12:15pm. The walk is approximately 3.5 miles, with some uphill stretches (but not as many as usual). The walk will finish in time to catch the Looe Valley Line from Coombe Junction back to Liskeard for 3:50pm.
Most of the walks will be on tarmac, but short stretches may be muddy so please wear appropriate footwear and don’t forget to bring a packed lunch!
Please note: dogs are not permitted on the walk.
UPDATE: Now fully booked
The guided walk is free to attend, but you will need to buy train tickets as usual (see fares below) and book in with Mark by emailing walkaboutwest@btinternet.com to let him know how many people are in your party. Mark will email you back to confirm your booking.
