Once you arrive at Bere Alston station, follow the Tamar Valley National Landscape website’s directions for the Bere Alston to Bere Ferrers walk. You can print this out at home, or scan the QR code at the station. This varied route has stunning views and a mix of woodland, riverside and countryside paths. Please make sure you are wearing appropriate footwear and note that there are some steep slopes.
Extend your day out by visiting The Olde Plough Inn when you reach Bere Ferrers (just a 10-min walk from the station). Warm up by the fire with great food and toast to a walk well done! Booking ahead is strongly advised. Please check opening times before visiting.
