North Devon FOODfest – get there by train

Hop on the scenic Tarka Line to Barnstaple this Sunday (22nd) for the return of their annual food festival!


What’s on

Held in Barnstaple’s Pannier Market from 10:00 am – 3:30 pm, the North Devon FOODfest is the district’s largest food and drinks festival. It’s free to attend with no booking needed and it’s less than a 15-minute walk from Barnstaple station.

You’ll be able to sample and purchase a diverse range of cuisines from British classics to international street food. There will also be a wide range of craft beers, ciders, wines, and spirits as well as an array of talented chefs, restaurateurs, and artisan producers.

Get there by train

Take the train to Barnstaple from either Exeter St Davids or Exeter Central, with trains running hourly.

Adult Off-Peak Day Return fares:

Exeter St Davids – £13.20

Exeter Central – £13.30

Kids travel half-price (5-15yr olds). Under 5s free.
