Looe Weekender Festival – get there by train

This article is more than 1 year old.

Hop on the scenic Looe Valley Line this weekend for three days of live music from Friday 15th to Sunday 17th of September. The Looe Weekender Festival is FREE to attend, with no need to book any gigs in advance, just show up on the day!

What’s on

A weekend of live music across Looe’s pubs, clubs, bars and pop-up stages! The event is held at venues across East and West Looe and you can expect to see an extensive lineup of bands, duos & soloists with most venues hosting at least three musical sessions each day between 12:00 – 22:30.

Get there by train

Beat the traffic and arrive by train on the Looe Valley Line. The last train from Looe back to Liskeard leaves at 21:37 on Friday, 21:36 on Saturday and 20:50 on Sunday.

An Adult Off-Peak Day Return between Liskeard and Looe costs £5.50 for an adult, £2.75 for a child (5 – 15) and under 5’s going free.

Save a third off the adult fare for you and a friend (with kids travelling for just £1) with a Devon & Cornwall Railcard – just £12 a year for local residents. Now available to buy online.

Look up train times and buy rail tickets on the GWR website or app.
