Falmouth Week – get there by train

This article is more than 1 year old.

Falmouth Week is back from Friday 4th – Saturday 12th August! As well as the week-long sailing regatta, there are a whole host of other shoreside events such as live music, markets, fireworks and more. Many events, such as the regatta, are free to visit. However, there are a handful of ticketed events that you can purchase in advance.

Plan your trip

Beat the traffic and hop on the Maritime Line! Jump off at Falmouth Town Station where many of the activities are less than a 10-minute walk away.

Trains depart Truro every half hour Monday – Saturday and every hour on Sundays. You can also stay in Falmouth for the evening as the last train back to Truro departs at 23:25 (Mon-Fri) 23:13 (Sat) or 22:36 (Sun).

An Adult Off-Peak Day Return from Truro is £5.70.

Save a third off the above adult fare for you and a friend (with kids travelling for just £1) with a Devon & Cornwall Railcard – just £12 a year for local residents.

Look up train times and buy rail tickets on the GWR website or app.
