Enjoy a free Ramble and Rhyme spring poetry walk on the Looe Valley Line on Saturday 25th March.
Let the history, environment and people of the valley inspire you as you listen to poetry and have a go at writing your own. Make sure you wear appropriate shoes and clothing – and don’t forget your notepad!
The walk, organised by the Moor to Sea project, is approximately 4.5km. Find out more and book your space.
Come by train on the Looe Valley Line. If travelling from Plymouth take the 09 46 to Liskeard, then change on to the Looe Valley Line departing at 10 36 from Platform 3.
You will arrive in Looe at 11 02 where the rest of the walking party will join the train. Stay on the train as it heads back up the line and calls at St. Keyne Wishing Well Halt, where the walk begins.
The walk will finish at Sandplace station in time for the 14 09 train to Looe. Stay on board at Looe for the trip back up to Liskeard, arriving 14 46. The train back to Plymouth departs 15 18, arriving 15 46.

The Off-Peak Day Return fare from Plymouth to Looe is £7.40, or just £4.85 with a Devon and Cornwall Railcard.
