Enjoy a free Ramble and Rhyme winter poetry walk on the Looe Valley Line. Feel inspired as you walk through historic environments, listen to poetry and have a go at writing your own. Make sure you wear appropriate shoes and clothing – and don’t forget your notepad!
Winter Walk, Looe – 3rd December / 10am – 12pm
The first walk will take place in Looe. Meet at the entrance to Kilminorth Woods – just a 15-minute walk from Looe station.
Get there by train: Take the 8:27 from Liskeard and enjoy a scenic train journey before arriving into Looe for 8:59. Once you’ve finished your Ramble and Rhym walk, why not walk into Looe town and grab a handmade Cornish pasty from Sarah’s Pasty Shop before catching the train back to Liskeard at 13:05.

Winter Walk, Liskeard – 3rd December / 14:00 – 16:00
The second walk of the day will take place in Liskeard. Meet outside the main station building (come off the train at platform 3, turn right and walk to the top of the hill), where you will set off on your walk down to Coombe Junction, under the Moorswater Viaduct, through Moorswater and finally back to Liskeard station.
Get there by train: Take the 13:05 from Looe, arriving at Liskeard station for 13:33.

How much will the train journey cost?
The Off-Peak Day Return fare between Liskeard and Looe is £4.90 for adults. 5-15 year-olds are half price and under 5s are free.
