Newquay Zoo – visit by train

This article is more than 2 years old.

On the look out for great family activities this summer? Hop on the train for an adventure-packed day at Newquay Zoo.

Getting there
Take the train to Newquay, arriving right into the heart of the town (look up train times). From the station it’s a simple 10-minute walk to the zoo.

Save on zoo admission
Make sure you keep hold of your train tickets (paper or digital). Show them at the zoo entrance for a £1 discount per person, as a thank you for choosing sustainable transport. Whether you’ve already bought your zoo ticket online, or are buying it on the day, the admissions team will handle the rest.

Time to explore
Discover hundreds of the world’s most amazing animals among the zoo’s beautiful gardens. From lemurs and lynx to monkeys and meerkats, you are never far away from a little animal magic.

Great value fares
As well the zoo discount, taking the train will also save you money on parking.

Adult Off-Peak Day Return fares:

  • Par to Newquay £5.60 (direct)
  • Truro to Newquay £7.50
  • Falmouth to Newquay £8.00
  • Plymouth to Newquay £12.00 (some direct trains, seven days a week until 11 September)
