Did you know? It’s easy to use the Dartmoor Line (Exeter-Crediton-Okehampton) as a springboard to explore Lydford, Brentor and Tavistock thanks to the onward 118 Rail Link bus that departs from right outside Okehampton station.
Buses depart every other hour, timed with trains (Mon-Sat, some Sunday buses too).

Visit Lydford Gorge, Lydford Castle, Brentor Church, the Pannier Market in Tavistock or the fantastic pubs along the bus route such as the Highwayman Inn, known as “the most unusual pub in Britain”.

How much does it cost?
The train fare between Exeter and Okehampton is £8.00 (Anytime Day Return). There is a maximum bus fare of £3.00, single or return, for passengers on the 118 who have a valid rail ticket.
Who runs the service?
The bus service is operated by Dartline and is financially supported by Devon County Council. GWR is working to maximise visibility and reach of the service by funding marketing and provision of information.
