Bere Ferrers spring craft fair – visit by train

Hop on the train from Plymouth to Bere Ferrers this Saturday 30th April to enjoy the arts & craft fair in this picturesque village and celebrate local designers!

Held at Bere Ferrers Social Club from 11am to 3:30pm, the fair will include paintings, glass blowing, lacemaking, jewellery, pottery, handmade soaps, fused glass and Tamar Valley wine tasting.

There will also be a bar, light lunches and refreshment. Free admission.

Getting there
Trains depart from Plymouth station at 10 22 and 12 24. The journey to Bere Ferrers takes 18 minutes.

Walk from the station down to the Social Club and Church Hall (10 minutes’ walk – see map).

Trains back to Plymouth depart at 13 40, 15 40, 18 00 and 19 44 (if you want to also try the village pub, the Olde Plough Inn – phone to confirm opening times).

The Off-Peak Day Return fare is £5.60 for adults, £2.80 for children (5-15). Under 5s travel free.

Passengers can also join the train at Devonport, Dockyard, Keyham and St Budeaux Victoria Road stations.
