Explore the historic Hoe (pictured), wander the harbour, enjoy some great local seafood or visit the city's new state of the art IMAX cinema.
Take the scenic countryside trip to Barnstaple, then explore the Tarka Trail or hit the coast by onward bus from the railway station.

You can bring your pram or buggy. If possible please fold it down once on the train. Under 5s travel free.
Why not try commuting by train? Regular passengers can make substantial savings by taking advantage of season tickets and carnets.
Season tickets are available for one week, one month or any period up to a year. You can order a quick and easy Touch Smartcard online. Or you can buy a paper season ticket at staffed stations (take along a recent passport-sized photo). Once you have a photocard, weekly tickets can be bought from the ticket machine.
