The beautiful National Trust estate at Cotehele is always well worth a visit but this weekend there is even more reason to go as it marks the start of their two-week Daffodil Festival.
The festival will include displays of the daffodil collections on the estate, guided walks and children’s activities.
Cotehele is easily reached by train from Plymouth. Take the short hop to Calstock station in just half an hour, then take a scenic riverside walk up to the estate.
Look up trains times and fares.
