Saturday 18th August sees the return of the annual Ploughman’s Festival in Liskeard.
This free event is a celebration of local food, beer and music and is suitable for all the family.
The day kicks off at 10 00 with a colourful street market on the Parade in the centre of Liskeard featuring local cheeses, bread, honey, cider, pasties, sausage rolls and more.
At 12 00 the gates open in Westbourne Gardens where musicians from across the southwest will entertain festivalgoers until 19 00.
There will be a beer and cider tent as well as activities for children and more food stalls so bring a blanket, sit back and relax.
Westbourne Gardens is Liskeard’s hidden park, located in Dean Street, Liskeard PL14 4AE, approximately a 12 minute walk from the railway station.
