Take your teddy on the Tamar Valley Line train

This article is more than 6 years old.

Kids ride free from Plymouth to the Tamar Valley this summer if they bring a teddy.

Over the school summer holidays (27 July – 31 August 2018), children aged 5 to 15 can make a free day trip by train from Plymouth stations to Calstock and other Tamar Valley Line stations if they take their teddy with them.

Calstock is only half an hour from Plymouth but makes a fab day out. Come for the beautiful countryside and National Trust property, stay for the great ice cream parlour!
