Hit the beach
Being on the Atlantic Coast of Cornwall, Newquay is blessed with some amazing beaches to suit everyone from adrenalin seekers to families. There are 11 beaches within easy reach of the railway station in Newquay town centre, many of which are Good Beach Guide recommended.

Boardmasters Festival
Every August, Newquay plays host to Boardmasters Festival of surf and live music. The festival is over 5 days culminating with three days of music, fairground rides, bars and food at the Watergate Bay site. There is a shuttle bus that links the festival site with the town.

Bluereef Aquarium
Come face to face with giant turtles, reef sharks and crabs at Bluereef Aquarium overlooking Towan Beach.

Newquay Station Information

Newquay station is on the Atlantic Coast Line. The station is only staffed from 2 May until 15 September from 10.00-15.00. Outside of this period, tickets must be bought from the guard on the train. There is step free access at this station. Station Parade, Newquay, TR7 2NF
