Truro Victorian market

This article is more than 7 years old.

Hop on the train to Truro this week for a Victorian Christmas extravaganza.

Explore 70 stalls in a giant heated marquee at Lemon Quay Piazza, with exhibitors in full period costume. From delicious cheeses and meats, to liqueurs, chocolates, arts and crafts, there’s something for every Christmas stocking. Local choirs will be performing to regale shoppers.

Taking the train
The market is less than 15 minutes’ walk from Truro station (see map).

  • Trains depart half-hourly from Falmouth Town through most of the day.
  • The journey takes 25 minutes.
  • The adult Off-Peak Day Return is just £4.30 from Falmouth (£3.70 from Penryn).
  • 5-15 year olds are half price and under 5s free.
